B.F.A. Business Management and Promotion, Minor Graphic Design - University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
Years In Design: 33
Design has been the main element throughout Jeanne's diverse career. After receiving a B.F.A. Business Management and Promotion, Minor Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, her design skills evolved into animation, multi-media, E-commerce, and interactive design. With a quest to learn more about art, she studied Art History in the UWM Graduate program. An internship at the Milwaukee Art Museum, led to a second career in Cultural Commerce. As Director of Retail at both Museums and National Parks, she continued to design exhibition stores, products, publications, websites, and marketing collateral. Family ties brought Jeanne back to Wisconsin where her design skills were applied to her home, and thus a passion for kitchen and bath design began. Jeanne joined Gerhard's in 2017 where she is enjoying learning more about plumbing and cabinet design.
My Favorite Part of My Job:
Helping customers understand the steps of a remodel or build project and empowering them to take the plunge!
What Set's Me Apart:
I lived at the Grand Canyon for 4 years and stood 12 inches from a Rembrandt most people will never see. With those views, I can't help but want everything around me to be beautiful. You just have to visit a Gerhard's store and you'll understand what it's means to be surrounded by luxury and beauty.
I love museums, parks and my backyard. I have a big family, and we love to grow, cook and gather to eat great food. We play sports, dance, and are known to laugh out loud - often! When I'm not at work, I'm hiking, kayaking, at a festival, or creating hypertufa bowls filled with succulents.
